Lisa is a Clinical Psychologist who is qualified to assess and treat a variety of mental health conditions. Lisa works with adults who may present with mood and anxiety disorders, adult and childhood trauma, stress-related issues and grief and chronic illness management. Lisa has worked in a range of mental health services (both youth and adult-specific) as well as emergency services and private practice. She has completed a PhD looking into the role of childhood trauma exposure on neural processing and the development of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in adults.
Lisa takes a holistic approach by working on balancing you emotional, physical, social, and spiritual wellbeing in a collaborative environment where your concerns are explored at your own pace. She will help you to develop and refine your skills in understand your troubling past experiences, dealing with current issues and building resilience to cope with future events. Lisa’s therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy and Internal Family Systems Therapy.
