Deanna Brouwer
Counselling Psychologist
Deanna is a registered psychologist with a Master’s specialisation in Counselling Psychology. She works with teenagers from 16 years of age and adults across the lifespan with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, anger management, low self-esteem, grief and loss, transition challenges and other psychological disorders. In addition, Deanna has a special interest working with new mother or those experiencing relationship, marriage or parenting difficulties.
Previous to her experience as a psychologist, Deanna spent many years working as a nurse in the mental health sector and has been described by her clients as warm, caring, practical and down to earth. She uses an eclectic style drawing from frameworks such as cognitive behavioural, schema, mindfulness, interpersonal and solution focused therapies. Deanna recognises that every person is unique and as such, values working collaboratively and respectfully to ensure that each client is assisted to achieve their personal goals and gain greater insight into themselves and their situation. As a committed and mature Christian, she also brings sensitivity and understanding to the spiritual dimension of a person’s journey.

Thursdays: 10am to 6pm

50 minute session: $195
Medicare rebate: $92.90 (valid mental health care plan and referral from GP required.)
